So yesterday, instead of visiting my high school (I didn’t go ’cause my friend couldn’t make it, I’m going tomorrow instead with another friend), I went to class! Yes, I got up at 6:30am to take the 7:30am bus to commute for TWO HOURS to attend my friend’s classes at her university on a mountain =_= We were supposed to get on the same bus, since it was a long bus ride to the skytrain station, but apparently the bus that we were supposed to get on didn’t come; another came instead so I got on that one, but she wasn’t there. And I called her, and she said the bus still hadn’t come for her yet… and so we ended up going all the way to the last bus stop on the line alone, and we just met up at that stop. Then we took the skytrain back to a certain station where we took the bus that went directly to the university… and we ended up being late for her first class, philosophy. It was a huge lecture class and for some reason everybody decided to attend class that day, so there weren’t any empty seats that could accommodate two people. So we left, ahaha.
We sat at the coffee shop and had brunch until 11:30am, and went to her psychology class. They were covering the topics of mental disorders, and… I took notes for my friend. And they were darn good notes! I take detailed notes D: I learned a lot from the class though, hehe. And after that, we sat in the same room for her political science class, where I met my ollllld friend from childhood that I hadn’t talked to for probably 8 years or more; apparently he’s my friend’s friend now… he looked the same as always, ahaha. And I saw my friend from high school for like a minute, she just dropped by to say hi before she went away to study with the other guy. So after 10 minutes of poli sci, the prof was still going on about how to write a freaking essay (“In your introduction, the most important thing you must include is your thesis which states your topic.” NO, REALLY?!), so I asked my friend if we could just leave, and so we did. I am such a good influence. ;D
After that, my friend and I took the bus down the mountain and rode on the skytrain again to one of the big malls, where we shopped for a couple of hours. I got a new outfit (as shown above)~! Another addition to my endless wardrobe. When we got tired from shopping, we just sat at the food court and took pictures with our cell phones of each other and recorded random videos. It was fun, actually. And we went home at about 5:45, and I went out again with the same friend and 3 other friends from high school to bubble tea, and then we went to take purikura. At the purikura place, there were a few arcade game machines, and as my friend pointed out… apparently it takes $25 to play ;D I am easily amused. Aaanyway, it was fun seeing my friends here again! We talked about the most random things; they’re so busy with school since they’re in the middle of midterm period, but I’m so glad that they still took some time out to come out and see me.
And today, I was tired from yesterday’s events so I just slept in and then stayed at home the entire day. I should have worked on my speech for the Japanese speech contest of Quebec, which I’m participating in :/ Oh well, I still have time. Anyway, at night I went out for dinner with my family; we went to a Chinese restaurant and had a lot of Chinese delicacies, because they said since I’m here it’s a “special occasion” and that it was okay to splurge a little. But still, I had stuff like an entire bowl of shark’s fin and shredded duck skin wraps (I have no clue what these are in English, I’m just directly translating or describing them) and lobster and a whole bunch of other dishes. I was so full, and the food just kept coming x_x I didn’t eat the last three dishes, I was just too stuffed.

I took a lot of pictures of my family eating though! I am the master of candid pictures. I love candid *_* Organized photos are nice and all, but candid photos are what really make me happy when I look back~ They hold more memories! So I was determined to catch my mom with the most awkward expression and I did. Ahaha, I am so mean to her. Ah, here’s a nice picture of her to make up for all the other ones. And I took pictures of my grandparents too! My grandma is in her 60’s but she doesn’t seem like it, I think she’s so pretty and young looking~ She’s really energetic too. And my grandpa’s so smart (*~*) Ugh, so there was also this big gathering thing going on at the restaurant, they used one of those flimsy divider things to section out the party going on at the side, but they were singing karaoke and stuff so it was pretty loud, the whole restaurant could hear it (even above the usual Chinese restaurant noise! If you’ve been to a Chinese restaurant, you’ll know what kind of noise level I’m talking about). Well, we had dinner for about 2 hours before heading home.
And now I’m here blogging~ Blogging is extremely time consuming, I must say. This took my 40 minutes just to write and link! Not including the photoshop time beforehand for those photos, resizing and colour enhancing. Oh well, blogging is fun I suppose. I blog for myself just as much as I blog for other people, it helps me reflect and think about stuff I did, and I always hope that my blog entries are something that would be enough for me to be able to relive my memories later on when I look back on them. I’m so weird. Just like how my new profile picture on the right is. If you’re wondering, my grandpa peeled oranges for me tonight and so I ate oranges and had fun with them. I have fun with everything. I suppose I could link you guys the full size picture since I’ve taken pictures of everything and everyone but me these past few days. Hm. I don’t even like oranges all that much. And to answer the unspoken question of “do you ever take proper pictures?”, the answer is…. no, I don’t. Actually, that would be a lie, I do, but just very, very rarely :X And remember, candid > organized pictures. ;D
Wow, what a long and random entry… as usual. I applaud you for having read through this~ More to come after tomorrow, probably!

@Cyn: THANKS, yay! It makes me happyyy. I got it at Sirens. The blouse is actually something I bought before somewhere else, but I thought it went quite nicely with the new clothes~
